Qualified Service Providers
QSPs care for older adults and people with various disabilities in their own homes and communities, so they can remain living independently. QSPs can be family members, friends, neighbors, or others who simply enjoying caring for others, getting paid to provide services like:
- Light housekeeping, laundry, cooking meals, shopping, bathing, dressing, feeding, toileting
- Providing temporary relief to a person’s main caregiver
- Providing non-medical transportation
QSPs work on their own as independent contractors, set their own schedule, decide what type of care services they want to provide, and select who they want to provide care services to. QSPs may also seek employment through various agency providers in North Dakota.
